Need to tape your student teaching?  Need to take pictures for your portfolio?   Need to edit the video tape you have of your student teaching?  Need to scan a picture into a document? 

Come to the TRC Lab located in Caruthers Hall room CH126D where a variety of helpful tools are available at your convenience!!!! 

Equipment is available for sign-out by faculty and students.  Students may keep the equipment for up to 48 hours.

Digital Video Cameras   

This equipment will capture video and still pictures.

 

 

Digital Still Cameras

• This equipment will capture still pictures.

Tripods

• Helpful when trying to use video and still cameras, so you do not have to hold them.

 Laptops

• Can be used by faculty and students.
• Useful for presentations, Microsoft work, and most other applications that are on regular laptops.

Projectors   

• Can be used by faculty and students.
• Useful for presentations.

PC/MC Cart

• Can be used by faculty and students.
• Useful for presentations and integrating technology into your lessons.
• Has ten laptops in one cart, that are able to connect to the internet.
• Has a projector.

Mac Cart

• Can be used by faculty and students.
• Useful for presentations and integrating technology into your lessons.
• Has fourteen Mac laptops, that are able to connect to the internet.
• Has a projector.

• Dell computers available for use with CD burners, 3 1/2 A floppy drives, Microsoft applications, kidspiration, inspiration, GroupWise features, internet accessible, Mozilla Firefox for live text, photoshop, Windows Media Player, Roxio, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Acrobat, Music match Jukebox, and many other features to help you with your school/class work.
• Mac computers available.
• VHS tape player (the ability to transfer VHS onto Mac or video camcorder tapes).
• Media Converter (the ability to transfer video tapes to Mac or VHS tape).
• Handhelds available
